Julie Murchinson joined Transformation Capital in 2020 after 6 years as the Chief Executive Officer of Health Evolution, the premier industry convener of health care’s most influential leaders. Julie built Health Evolution to inspire forward-thinking strategies and scalable solutions in health care, and into an unparalleled brand and growing, profitable business.
Prior to Health Evolution, Julie was Managing Director at Manatt Health Solutions where she concurrently co-founded the Health 2.0 Accelerator, a not-for-profit to advance consumer-centric health care. Previously, she was Vice President of Services at CareScience, a Senior Associate with Deloitte Consulting and launched her career with Ernst & Young.
Julie received her MBA in Healthcare and Operations Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and her BA in Business Management & Accounting from Franklin and Marshall College.

Laura Veroneau is a Managing Partner and Founding Team Member of Optum Ventures, the independent venture fund of UnitedHealth Group that invests stage agnostically across the healthcare ecosystem. Laura has played an instrumental role in the fund’s activity and success, leading notable investments such as AbleTo, Brightline, Dispatch Health, Equip, Garner, Truepill, and Unite Us, among others.
Prior to Optum Ventures, Laura’s experience ranges from a healthcare startup to UnitedHealth Group, CVS Health, and Transformation Capital – enabling Laura to develop a deep understanding of the healthcare system, with an eye on how innovation can integrate into and transform the overall industry.
Laura received her undergraduate degree in Economics and Legal Studies from Williams College and received an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
